All You Need To Know about
THE CELEBRATION
We want every step of the journey to feel easy, joyful, and full of Panama at its best.
Our wedding weekend takes place at Villa las Palmeras, a private beachfront villa in Punta Chame, about a two-hour drive west of Panama City along Panama's Pacific coast.
Friday, 19 March 2027 -
Welcome Reception:
An evening to gather and ease into the weekend together, with cocktails by the sea and small bites to share
Saturday, 20 March 2027 - Wedding Ceremony & Celebration:
The big day. We'll exchange vows by the sea, followed by dinner, dancing, and a night we hope you'll carry home with you.
Exact times for both days will be shared closer to the date
The closest international airport is Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City. Most major airlines fly into PTY from Europe, North America, and South America. We've put together flight suggestions in our Guest Guide below to help you find the most comfortable route.
Punta Chame is about a two-hour drive from Panama City. We will arrange group transport from Panama City to Palm House on the day of the welcome reception (Friday, 19 March), with a return shuttle to Panama City after the wedding celebration. Pickup points, times, and full details will be sent closer to the date - just let us know your arrival plans when you RSVP.
Near the venue (Punta Chame & surrounding beach area):
For guests who'd like to be close to the celebration, there are several lovely places within a short drive of Villa Las Palmeras:
- Punta Chame Club & Resort — quiet boutique resort with villas and a large pool, gated and very relaxed.
- Nomada Guesthouse Punta Chame — modern, design-led container-style rooms right on the beach.
- El Arca de Pachue — laid-back beachfront stays with kitchenettes, hammocks, and a beautiful pool.
- Pink Palace Panama — small, intimate, family-feel guesthouse a couple of minutes from the beach.
- Coronado area (20–30 min drive) — a wider selection of hotels, condos, and Airbnbs if you'd prefer more amenities nearby.
In Panama City (for nights before and after):
For your arrival night or any extra days exploring the city, we recommend staying in:
- Casco Viejo — Panama City's beautiful old town, full of colonial architecture, rooftops, cafés, and music.
- Marbella / Punta Pacífica — modern, walkable, and close to the financial district.
Tropical Elegant. Think flowing fabrics, light colours, and shoes you can dance in. The ceremony is on the beach, so guests are welcome to go barefoot in the sand or bring flats. Daytime will be warm; evenings are soft and breezy. We'll share more inspiration and outfit ideas in the Guest Guide.
Panama is a small country with an enormous range of beauty, from Caribbean islands to cloud forests to colonial cities. For guests who want to make the most of the trip, we're planning a few group excursions before and after the wedding, including San Blas (Guna Yala) island sailing, Bocas del Toro (where our story began), and day tours from Panama City. Full details, dates, and how to sign up will be shared with everyone who RSVPs.
If you can't make the trip, we'll be livestreaming the ceremony so you can still be part of the moment with us. The link will be sent to everyone who lets us know they'd like to watch from home.
Your presence is our greatest gift. Truly - having you travel across the world to celebrate with us is more than we could ever ask for. If you still wish to give something, a small contribution toward our honeymoon and new chapter together would be warmly appreciated.
